The new railway bridge over the Biobío River is the largest infrastructure of its kind in Chile, with 1.8 km in length, a double electrified track, and a 325-meter tunnel excavated in rock. It replaces the old 1889 bridge, improving capacity, safety, and continuity of railway service in the Biobío Region.

In this project, ARCA contributed by supplying critical electrification components, including brackets, droppers, compensation devices, and section insulators, which ensure the stability, reliability, and safety of the catenary in a landmark project for Latin America.

The Tren Maya is a significant national railway project aimed at revolutionizing transportation in Mexico. As a foundational project for future expansions, it spans approximately 1,440 km, connecting key regions and promoting sustainable development. For the Follo Line project in Norway, ARCA supplies essential catenary components for tunnel infrastructure, with a focus on the compensation system. ARCA has developed a specific compensation design tailored to meet the client’s unique requirements.
